Meet Our Humans!
The Tiger Frances Foundation was born from the hearts of two animal lovers, Jude McVay and Maggie Lawson, and continues to grow!
TTFF Co-Founder Jude McVay rescued kitties Tiger and Frances in 1996 from an abandoned pet store. They were her first, but they were certainly not her last. Jude has spent years advocating for animals as a rescuer, fosterer, and owner of Squirty’s House, a successful pet care company specializing in daily visits, overnights, and senior/special needs pets.
TTFF Co-Founder Maggie Lawson’s first rescue was in 1990. Popcorn was found in a dumpster at a Hardee's fast food restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky on Christmas Eve, but soon found a loving home with Maggie. Ever since, Maggie has been an animal advocate and dreams of creating a safe space for “unadoptable” animals. Her home has 3-4 adopted dogs at almost all times!
TTFF Operations Manager Elizabeth Jett grew up with dogs, but Scouty was her very first rescue and made her a total convert. Whether the animal is a friend’s, a foster, or a client at Squirty’s House, they are all “hers.” But her favorites are the seniors and special needs animals who need the most care and attention.
